Broken

Broken:
God you saw me broken.
You pieced me back together
What a day What a day!
My heart was whole again!
I lived my life for you such a short time
I was letting go of the cross.
You cried No as I slipped away further away
I can almost hear those distant cries.
You watched from afar and shook your head,
but I ignored you for so long
Why I would scream when something went wrong
I blamed you for the pain and misery.
You waited and waited
Again I fell to my knees broken!
Again God you saw me broken
You pieced me back together.
I am hidden underneath the cross
and never letting go..

My Poem

Cursed I came into this world
Badly beaten and broken
The doctors called it cerebral palsy.
Mama and Dad didn't know what to do.
The docs said that I would live a "normal" life.
They were wrong.
They haven't seen my tears, pain, struggles and loneliness.
I wanted to be mad at God for doing this to me.
He held me in his arms and said I love you,the way you are.
Why I begged to know, but in time was the reply.
In the time, I am finding out what his plan is for me.
Being cursed has become my blessing.
I still struggle with tears, pain, struggles and loneliness sometimes..
But stronger I have become and will become.
He has shown me so many different things,that other people won't understand.
I'll never understand most of what he has shown,
but I know that he is what is best for me.
He has made me the way I am.
Cerebral palsy won't take me down..
Thank you God for the curse that is my Blessing.

Weekend is here!

What a week!!!!!!!! It has been crazy! I feel like I haven't seen anyone at all, and I am not avoidin them, just being busy! Argh! I am on duty this weekend and guess what I am having to do more schoolwork! But it is still gonna be a good one! Not much planned, but relaxation is always good!!! Miss home a lot, but I am going there in a week! wahoo! well i shouldnt even be on here, but ya kno i needed a distraction! Peace out!!!

Snow day!!

We just got done having 2 snow days! what excitement came over the whole campus! we never get snow here! We were so excited about not having class!!! We spent the day sleddin, throwin snowballs, buildin snowmen and women! Over all the campus was so beautiful. It will be a such a day to remember and how created snow to make a beautiful sight!!!! It is just amazing!!!! Tomorrow starts a new week, and can't wait till God reveals something this week!!! Peace out yall!!!!!

What a start of the year!

I finally quit work on the 3rd to come back to school on the 6th! I have a new job as an Resident Assistant(RA). I love all the girls in the dorm. The school load is heavy and with being the RA it is a little heavier, but God is in control and He wants me to do this, so the strength is comin from him!!!!! Yay for not my own strength!!! Growin is what going to happen and I am excited.. Training starts this weekend, can't wait to get started! I can't wait to see what God has planned!!! That is enough 4 now!!!! Peace out!!
